APIMA 3


Established in 1984 in Porto, the Portuguese Association of Furniture and Related Industries (APIMA) is a non-profit business association dedicated to promoting the competitiveness of the furniture and related sectors nationally and internationally. Its mission is to stimulate growth and development within these industries while advocating for the interests of member companies. APIMA plays a crucial role in highlighting the significance of the furniture industry in the national economy.

CSID


Established in 1979 in Taipei, the Chinese Association of Interior Design (CSID) has been a pivotal force in Taiwan’s interior design scene. With members ranging from accomplished designers to manufacturers, CSID has made significant contributions to Taiwan’s design industry. Since 1989, CSID has represented Taiwan internationally, gaining recognition in prestigious design organizations and competitions.

Established in 1985, Himpunan Desainer Interior Indonesia DKI Jakarta (HDII) fosters unity among Indonesian Interior designers, promoting professional solidarity.


The Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines (HRAP) is a non-stock, non-profit organisation represented by Hotel Managers, Restaurant Owners, University Deans and CEOS.


Institute of Indian Interior Designers, popularly called I.I.I.D; was founded in 1972 to establish good professional & trade practices and ethics amongst its members and to highlight and enhance the image of the Interior Design Profession and exchange know‐how with similar organizations within the country & abroad. IIID is a member of APSDA : Asia Pacific Space Designers Alliance.


The Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS), established in 2003 through the merger of the Interior Designers’ Association and the Society of Interior Designers, represents and advocates for professional interior designers in Singapore, actively engaging with international and regional Industry bodies.


The Japan Interior Designers’ Association (JID) was founded in 1968 as a national association to represent the interests of the interior designers in Japan.


The Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (MIID) is the national institute representing the interior design profession in Malaysia. Its vision is to develop a sophisticated society of Malaysians who are conversant and appreciative of the creative world of interior design.


The Phillippine Institute of Interior Designers (PIID) is the accredited institute of the Philippine government as a community of professional interior design practitioners.


The Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) since 1981, represents Singapore’s diverse furniture industry, comprising over 360 companies across manufacturing, design, retail, fit- out, and materials, with a global presence in 80+ countries.


The Society of Interior Designers Singapore began as a professional body for Singaporean and Singapore based Interior Designers in 1994. Over the years, it grew to be the leading local interior design body, promoting creativity and professionalism to the world.


The Spatial Design Support Organization of Japan is a collaborative platform for spatial designers in Japan. We bring together professionals from architecture, landscape, interior design, lighting, and product design to share knowledge, address industry challenges, and promote innovation. By fostering connections between Japanese and global design communities, we aim to create a thriving ecosystem for spatial design.


The Thai Furniture Association, formerly known as the “Thai Furniture Industry Association”, was created from the gathering of entrepreneurs in the furniture industry that use raw materials of hardwood, rubber wood, plywood, particle wood. M.D.F. wood Leather, metal, including equipment and machinery used in this type of industry. It is a manufacturer for export and distribution within the country. Officially registered as a trade association on March 17, 1980.


TIDA was founded in 1985 by Professor Jakra Siripanich. In 1987, it became the Thailand Interior Designers’ Association. It aims to promote and accredit interior design courses and maintain professional standards.


Union for International Design Macao (UIDM) advances Macao interior design globally by organizing competitions, exhibitions, and events highlighting local talent and innovation.


Vietnam Design Association (VDAS) is a social organisation that seeks to persuade, encourage creativity in design to serve the living, life and to create the conditions that promote economic development in the market economy.


Vietnam Interiors Association (VNIA) – is a social-professional organization that represents the voice of the Vietnamese interiors industry in general, gathering individuals and organizations operating in the fields of interior design & consulting in interior, interior construction, production groups, service trade and related sectors of the interior design industry.
