Elaine Wong is drawn to discovering hidden insights and subtle nuances in her surroundings and everyday interactions. Through a process of play, exploration, and an openness to the unexpected, she lets the unique qualities of materials and environments guide her creative journey. Inspired by both the vastness of the cosmos and the small moments of daily life, she aims to create designs that thoughtfully balance functionality with emotional depth, always keeping the user experience at heart.
Motivated by curiosity and a genuine sense of wonder, Elaine seeks to craft solutions that not only address practical needs but also engage and inspire those who encounter them in a changing world. Her work aspires to offer a sense of connection and imagination, inviting people to see the world from a new perspective.
Central to her approach is the concept of the ‘Phenomenal Space,’ a place where she finds meaning and purpose in the act of creation and design.
Born in 1976 and based in Singapore, Elaine ho lds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in InteriorArchitecture from RMIT University (1998–2000) and a Diploma in Environmental and Interior Design from LASALLE College of the Arts (1994–1996). She continues to seek growth and learning through her work and the experiences it brings.
